Statute: 27:23-23.3

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is authorized to construct, maintain, repair and operate a project addition and extension to the New Jersey Turnpike consisting of a highway, or such part or parts thereof as the New Jersey Turnpike Authority may determine to be suitable for a project as contemplated by this act, at the following location: Beginning at a point south of but near present New Brunswick Interchange 9 of the New Jersey Turnpike, and thence in a general southeasterly direction through Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties, with the terminus being in the vicinity of the river known as Toms River, adjacent to the present Garden State Parkway, which said terminus shall have the concurrence of the New Jersey Highway Authority and the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of New Jersey.
